Media Advisory - English-speaking Leaders and Youth Gather to View Leaders' Debate


MONTREAL, Sept. 17, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On Monday evening, the Quebec Community Groups Network and its Vote it Up youth electoral engagement campaign will be hosting a live viewing party to watch the English-language leaders' debate. A group of QCGN members, stakeholders and youth ? many of them voting in their first provincial election ? will be listening to what party leaders have to offer and react live via social media.

Vote it Up is a project of the Quebec Community Groups Network to mobilize English-speaking youth to go to the polls on October 2. To stimulate their interest, Vote it Up is reaching out to young people on campuses and where they gather on social media networks.

The Quebec Community Groups Network is a not-for-profit organization bringing together 57 English-language community organizations across Quebec. Its mission is to identify, explore and address strategic issues affecting the development and vitality of English-speaking Quebec and to encourage dialogue and collaboration
