ReliaQuest Founder and CEO, Brian Murphy, Recognized in Florida 500 List

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ReliaQuest, the leader in security model management, today announced its founder and CEO, Brian Murphy, was selected for Florida Trend's inaugural Florida 500 Most Influential Business Leaders of 2018 list.  This list recognizes the 500 most influential executives across major industries throughout the state. Murphy's selection makes him one of 30 leaders chosen for the Information/Tech/Media category.

Murphy founded ReliaQuest in Tampa in 2007, and under his leadership, the company has grown to over 300 employees with over 150 customers in the Fortune 1,000 alone. The company's success led Murphy to be recognized by Ernst & Young as their 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year for Florida. However, it is Murphy's focus on culture and professional development that has earned ReliaQuest accolades for its commitment to focused growth while maintaining a positive company culture. In 2017, ReliaQuest was named a national Great Place to Work®, listed as one of FORTUNE Magazine's Top 100 Medium Workplaces and ranked No. 171 on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500tm, a list of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. That recognition has continued into 2018 with ReliaQuest ranking No. 16 on FORTUNE Magazine's Best Workplaces in Technology list.

According to Florida Trend, the 500 executives were selected based on extensive contacts in Florida business circles, hundreds of interviews and months of research, culminating a highly selective biographical guide to the leaders of Florida. A variety of sources were used to produce the lists, including input from top executives of economic development organizations, professional associations and others very familiar with local communities, industries and the state.
