Executive Career Success Launches Two New Women's Leadership Development Programs

GROTON, Mass., Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Despite a rise in diversity and inclusion programs, as well as consistent evidence demonstrating that companies with greater gender diversity outperform their less diverse counterparts, the technology industry struggles to attract, retain and advance women leaders.

"Women continue to face challenges stemming from unconscious bias, insufficient support and the myth of a meritocracy," says Kim Meninger of Executive Career Success. "These challenges undermine women's confidence and limit the availability of leadership opportunities to women in technology."

In an effort to empower women to develop the strategic mindset, leadership capabilities and influential networks needed to break down stubborn gender barriers, Executive Career Success is launching two new women's leadership programs this fall.

Advancing Women in Technology is a year-long leadership development program designed to accelerate the rise of mid-level women leaders to senior levels of leadership. Emphasizing critical leadership competencies, the program supports women in the development of confidence, clarity and connection ? key pillars of leadership success.

Emerging Women Leaders is a discussion group aimed at women professionals who have graduated in the past ten years. The program is designed to arm women with the strategies and skills they need to embrace early leadership opportunities, develop their influence and build powerful strategic relationships.

"For many reasons, women are less likely to have the relationships they need to advance to senior levels of leadership," says Meninger. "These leadership programs support women in skill building while prioritizing the development of critical professional networks."

Kim Meninger is a Certified Executive Coach and owner of Executive Career Success in Groton, MA. She specializes in helping women professionals build the confidence, visibility and influence they need to advance their careers. Kim's expertise stems from her 10+ year career in the technology industry, as well as her extensive educational background, including an MBA from Boston College, a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University and a certification in Executive and Leadership Development Coaching from the Academies.
