Employee Recommended Workplace Award establishes three recruitment community partners

TalentEgg, CharityVillage and Bmeaningful partner to recognize employers making strides in employee health and well-being

TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Building on the growth of the Employee Recommended Workplace Award, Morneau Shepell and The Globe and Mail announced a new partnership with TalentEgg, CharityVillage and Bmeaningful as the award's inaugural recruitment community partners. Throughout the 2019 awards program, this partnership will provide winning employers with benefits including, but not limited to, exposure on each partner's website and newsletter, social media integration, as well as discounts on profiles and job postings.

"We are excited to introduce these partners to help promote the Employee Recommended Workplace Award and to celebrate our shared commitment to employee well-being," said Stephen Liptrap, president and CEO, Morneau Shepell. "These partnerships will provide participating organizations with great visibility among top employers in Canada. We look forward to working closely with TalentEgg, CharityVillage and Bmeaningful to ensure finalists and winning organizations receive enhanced exposure for their accomplishments."

The inaugural partners were selected based on their success in delivering innovative solutions and partnering with top Canadian organizations. TalentEgg is a Canadian job board and online career resource for young professionals, connecting students and new graduates with top employers in Canada. CharityVillage's job board supports Canada's nonprofit and charitable sector, helping organizations with recruitment and helping employees access professional development opportunities. Similarly, Bmeaningful is a Canadian career site for social impact jobs, connecting professionals looking to make a difference with purpose-oriented positions.

"TalentEgg, CharityVillage and Bmeaningful are committed to helping professionals find meaningful work to move their careers forward," said Mary Barroll, president, TalentEgg. "The Employee Recommended Workplace Award encompasses all of the values that we support. We're excited to join as recruitment community partners to promote the top organizations receiving this award as ideal employers for the candidates using our platforms."

"The Employee Recommended Workplace Award was created to recognize organizations that put the health and well-being of their employees first," said Phillip Crawley, publisher and chief executive officer, The Globe and Mail. "With this partnership, organizations that have made employee health and success a priority can continue building a strong workforce by reaching a new pool of successful candidates."

The Employee Recommended Workplace Award, based entirely on feedback from employees, recognizes employers that have the healthiest, most engaged and most productive employees across work, life, mental health and physical health. Registration is now open for the third annual award. More details and registration information can be found at employeerecommended.com.
