MONTREAL, Sept. 10, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Influence MTL returns to Montreal for its second edition of. INFLUENCE MONTREAL 2018 presented by DESJARDINS in partnership with the city of MONTREAL, welcomes Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, whose story and campaign for girls' education has circled around the world, On September 26th , Malala will close the full-day event by taking the stage at Place Bonaventure to share her story with Montreal. Following her appearance, a reception will be hosted in honor of our guest at the historical Jetée Alexandra in old Montreal.
The founder of Malala Fund is building a global movement of support for 12 years of girls education by investing in local school education activists, advocating to hold leaders accountable, and amplifying girls voices. As the youngest person ever awarded the Nobel peace prize, Malala finds it imperative to share her vision and movement with her audience. It is an honour for Influence MTL 2018, a conference made of young visionaries from Montreal, to welcome her in our city for the first time.
Influence MTL, founded 14 months ago by serial entrepreneur Thierry Lindor, has already held more than 7 conferences in Montreal and Toronto. This young and innovative movement, who recently hosted famous videograph Casey Neistat, is constantly looking for ways to optimize the experience of conferences by informing, inspiring, and influencing the current and next generation of changemakers. This conference will be a full-day event, hosting a variety of panels and workshops with influential entrepreneurs and professionals such as: Nicolas Duvernois, Daniele Henkel, Fabrice Vil, Nalie Agustin and guest such as Mayor Valérie Plante and Deputy Prime Minister Anglade and many more.
