Insignia SEO Gives Back to the Community by Awarding $25,000 to College Students
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Insignia SEO, a digital marketing agency out of Austin, Texas, has a scholarship program that will award over $25,000 to College Students nationwide for the purposes of subsidizing essential tuition costs for incoming freshmen and full-time college students who are pursuing degrees in any accredited institution of higher learning.
One of the Scholarships offered, the Creative Essay Scholarship, is offering $1,000 scholarships year-round to college students to assist paying student tuition costs. The company's goal is to award over $25,000 in scholarships in the next five years to college students nationwide.
There were over 300 submissions in Insignia SEO's most recent scholarship round. The recipient of the Fall 2018 scholarship was granted a $1,000 scholarship on Aug. 29, 2018 and is using their funds toward their DePaul University tuition for the fall semester.
One of Insignia SEO's founders, Rolando Herrera, stated that he wants his company to lend a helping hand to young students who may financially struggle to attain the higher education they need to pursue their careers.
"It's definitely great to give back to the community in a way that will benefit aspiring college students. We know how difficult it is to be a college student while having to cover necessary expenses such as tuition, textbooks, cost of living, and a lot more. So, we believe this scholarship can help soften the financial burden many college students face."
Insignia SEO is currently accepting submissions for their 2019 Creative Essay Scholarship. Incoming or Current college students are encouraged to submit a detailed, 500-word essay centered on a creative piece of work (art, design, ad, content, and more) that has inspired them and influenced their perspective on life.
Every submission is graded by college professors who will gauge the effectiveness of the content, tone, and the use of grammar. All submissions are required to be submitted by December 29, 2018. The winner of the scholarship will receive the $1,000 scholarship in two increments of $500 that will be subsequently sent to the institution of their choice.
