Adolfson & Peterson Construction Celebrates Second Year as Presenting Sponsor For "Back 2 School Bountytm"
DENVER, Sept. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) is proud to, once again, be the presenting sponsor of "Back 2 School Bountytm," a program designed to provide much needed supplies and resource assistance to K-12 schools. This year, the program goal is to more than triple the amount of schools that will receive a "bounty box" filled with school supplies for teachers to collect from, as needed, throughout the school year. Last year, AP delivered Back 2 School Bountytm boxes to 25 schools in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Boxes are filled to the brim with teachers most requested supplies: disinfecting wipes, glue sticks, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers, notepads, pencils, tissues and more.
"We wanted to reduce the impact of out-of-pocket expenses that teachers face with each new school year," said Laura Shivers, regional director of marketing for AP and brainchild of the Back 2 School Bountytm Box program. "It is our hope that the boxes help alleviate some of the financial burden teachers experience every school year!"
This is the program's first year in Colorado, with a goal to distribute more than 100 Back 2 School Bountytm boxes throughout the state. "We could not be more excited to help bring this program to Colorado after seeing the impact it made in Arizona last year," said Keri Burson, regional director of marketing for AP's Colorado region. "Being able to invest in our local schools, students and teachers is something we are proud to support."
