Media Statement - Statement from Mr. Nicolas Tsouflidis, President of Cora, on the Arrest about his Kidnapping that Occurred on March 8, 2017

MONTREAL, Sept. 4, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - "Last year has been very trying. Today, I am relieved to learn of the arrest of a suspect. From what I know, this is a unique and isolated case. At Cora, we have no tolerance when it comes to violence. I am convinced that all our employees and franchisees, who are at the very heart of our success, join me in condemning the act that has been committed.

I trust the legal process will shed some light on the reasons that motivated this person to commit such an act. For the time being, I will continue to cooperate with the authorities. To that effect, I thank the Sûreté du Québec and the police department of Mirabel for their investigation, which lead to today's arrest.

I also thank my family, friends, employees and franchisees for their constant support during that period, and also our loyal guests for their continued trust. Rest assured that our daily goal will remain the same: offer our guests the best breakfasts with a high-quality service in a warm, family atmosphere."

Because of the judicial process to come, Nicolas Tsouflidis will not comment further and will not participate in any media interviews.
