ezReferral Inc. Announces Release of Fax Killer ezAnywhere Medical Referral Application

EDMONTON, Alberta, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dr. Denis Vincent, CEO and Founder of ezReferral Inc., announces today the release of its new add on to ezReferral that should herald the end of the fax machines usage for medical referrals.

ezAnywhere is the first of its kind application that can be installed on any website in moments, allowing referring practitioners to securely create a patient referral, attach any appropriate files, track receipt, send patient notifications, and follow progress of the referral.  The receiving specialist using ezReferral will receive notification of the new referral and can access the complete referral information from anywhere.  Accurate, secure, auditable, inexpensive, and time saving, ezAnywhere is easy to use and matches any workflow.

"I've been working for years to build a better way to manage referrals," said Dr. Denis Vincent.  "I can't believe it's 2018 and how the medical world still relies upon the insecure, inefficient and frankly dangerous fax machine.  Everyone knows of a story about a fax getting lost, overlooked or sent to the wrong machine which had very adverse effects for the patient."  Dr. Vincent, a practicing physician, believes that ezAnywhere and ezReferral may be the ultimate solution that: provides better patient care, streamlines the referral process, advances the world of e-consults, reduces no-shows and saves time and money for everyone.

Terry Mah, head developer for ezAnywhere says: "Creating an application that was uncomplicated, simple to install and powerful was our team's guiding principal.  Having a practicing doctor guide our development was key to our success.  Denis knows how hard it is to get a practice to change how they work."  Mah concluded, "I am confident once people have a look at what we have built, they will be getting ready to add the fax machine to the electronic recycling bin, which is where it belongs."

Maurice Vincent, project lead says that ezReferral was designed by understanding the referral process through hundreds of visits to medical offices. "We had to understand the nuances of each practice and the challenges they face on a daily basis."
