Dee's Newly Released "The Raindrop Who Was Afraid to Drop" is a Beautiful Children's Story About the Courage to Take the Leap of Faith into God's Great Plan

MEADVILLE, Pa., Aug. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "The Raindrop Who Was Afraid to Drop": a wonderful story about faith in God's plan. "The Raindrop Who Was Afraid to Drop" is the creation of published author, Dee, a married mother of two sons who enjoys sharing God's goodness, drawing, crocheting, and origami, and lives in the panhandle of Florida with her family and two loyal Labrador mixes.

Dee writes of the raindrop's dilemma, "He knew what the trouble was: he could simply lay there on his soft cloud and stare up at the stars and moon all he wanted. He never, had to think about going up there. Yet he knew, deep down in his dew-covered heart, he would someday have to jump down to the earth, and that was something he simply did not want to do.
Late one evening, he noticed the other raindrops starting to swirl about in excitement. They were dancing, twirling, and hopping up and down while shouting joyfully to each other. The little raindrop asked one of them, 'What's going on? Why all the commotion on such a relaxing and peaceful day?'
The other raindrop said, 'You must be new. We are all getting ready. It's time to jump down to the earth!'
The day the little raindrop had been dreading was here. He tried to reason with the other raindrop, 'Why leave this beautiful home of ours? We have all we need here and we are always comfortable.'
The other raindrop replied, 'Because that's what God wants us to do, that's why.' And he spun away."

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dee's new book is an inspiring story and modern-day parable for the whole Christian family.

Aside from the lesson about stepping out of one's comfort zone, the little raindrop also teaches children about the water cycle, from the clouds to rain, snow, and the water bodies before evaporating back into the sky.
