InventHelp Inventor Develops Enhanced Pet Leash for Added Safety, Visibility and Entertainment (BMA-5133)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Maynard, Mass., had problems handling a conventional dog leash wanted the freedom to use his cell phone while walking his dog but had trouble holding onto both. So he pursued an idea that would allow that freedom while still keeping the dog safe.

He developed a prototype for J WALK to provide an easy way to interact with a cell phone while holding a pet leash. As such, it reduces the chances of dropping the leash or the phone. This unique pet accessory not only keeps pets safe and under control but provides added security and visibility at night as well. Other appealing features include convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price. In addition, it is lightweight, compact and easy to use.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "While walking my dog, I encountered problems holding the leash and responding to calls and texts and selecting music on my cell phone at the same time," he said. "This invention is the perfect solution for a much more enjoyable walk."

The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
