Magenic Grows Cloud-Native Capabilities, Hires Java Practice Lead


MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Magenic, a Minneapolis-based business technology consulting firm, today announced that it is expanding its capabilities to include cloud-native computing and has hired Nathan Good to lead its new Java practice area.

Business technology consulting firm Magenic has expanded its capabilities to include cloud-native computing and has hired Nathan Good to lead its new Java practice area. Good has nearly 20 years of IT industry experience, including tenures with Amazon Web Services, Polaris Industries, Travelers Insurance, and GMAC ResCap. In his new role, Good is primarily responsible for helping to grow Magenic's Java and cloud-native capabilities and offerings.

Good has nearly 20 years of IT industry experience, including tenures with Amazon Web Services, Polaris Industries, Travelers Insurance, and GMAC ResCap, where he held such positions as technology lead, senior engineer, enterprise architect, applications manager, and web developer. His experience has enabled him to develop a robust depth of knowledge in modern, container-based architecture and a proficiency in Java, open source and AWS environments. Good has also authored two books on programming, "Regular Expressions Recipes: A Problem-Solution Approach" and "Regular Expressions Recipes: A Problem-Solution Approach". Good has also co-written books on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and PHP.

In his new role as Java Practice Lead with Magenic, Good is primarily responsible for helping to grow Magenic's Java and cloud-native capabilities and offerings by providing the firm's customers with a more well-rounded set of development capabilities.
