InventHelp Inventor Develops Welding Lead - Electrical Cords, Air Hoses, Cable Holder (STU-2249)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- While safety regulations for construction sites require that cables, wires, hoses and welding leads be kept at least six feet above ground level, compliance is often a challenge. Fortunately, an inventor from Ogden, Utah, has come up with a solution.

He developed a prototype for patent pending MIKE'S STAND to help hold electrical cords and related materials up off the ground, separated and organized. As such, it promotes workplace safety and saves time, effort and expense. Thus, it improves the productivity of workers, as well. It is also more durable than existing wood racks, as well as practical and easy to use. Other appealing features include convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price.

The inventors experience on the job inspired the idea. "Working in the heavy construction industry as a boilermaker for over 30 years, I needed to keep all cords, leads and air hoses up off the ground," he said. "However, since their weight often overloaded the wood racks, I knew there had to be a better way to support them."

The original design was submitted to the Salt Lake City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
