Oriental Yuhong's Center of Global Excellence R&D for Waterproof Coatings Established in Philadelphia

BEIJING, Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Oriental Yunhong has established the Global R&D Center for Waterproof Coating in Philadelphia. The polyurethane and polymer research will help keep Oriental Yunhong prepared for the future with advanced research and development.

The Center of Global Excellence R&D for Waterproof Coating is located in Spring House Innovation and Technology Park, a key innovation area designated by the Pennsylvania State Government. The research center covers 1,800 square meters and consists of 16 different laboratories. The research center will focus on basic research and innovation, and combines basic scientific theoretical research with current engineering practices. By expanding the research and development capabilities this will help Oriental Yuhong further implement corporate strategies.

Oriental Yunhong selected Philadelphia as the location for the Center of Global Excellence due to the strong historical connection with scientific research. Both Dow Chemistry and Rohm and Haas R&D centers have achieved successful results in Philadelphia.
