Albert then served as a police officer in the nation's capital, Washington, DC, from 1968 to 1995. He has been married forty-seven years. He and his wife, Peggy, have been blessed with two children, Benjamin, who is deceased, and Rebecca. He has three grandchildren: seventeen-year-old Madison, fifteen-year-old Joshua, and twelve-year-old Noah. Albert is fully retired and currently resides in Woodbridge, Virginia. He loves to write poetry and children's stories. He enjoys reading and going on long walks with his three Pekingese dogs, Bitsy, Beau, and Susie. He loves trips to the beach, especially on Assateague Island in Chincoteague, Virginia.
