Stratus Welcomes Jason Dietrich as Chief Revenue Officer

MAYNARD, Mass., Aug. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stratus Technologies, a global leader in continuous availability solutions for industrial applications, today announced that it has appointed Jason Dietrich as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial platforms, Dietrich will oversee and directly lead Stratus' global sales, marketing and business development efforts, aligning the company's go-to-market strategy with the tremendous opportunity that exists in the rapidly growing market for industrial edge computing.

Dietrich comes to Stratus from PTC, provider of the ThingWorx Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform and strategic partner of Rockwell Automation. While at PTC, Dietrich was responsible for driving ThingWorx sales strategies and execution, ensuring worldwide adoption of the ThingWorx platform into manufacturing and connected operations environments. Prior to PTC, Dietrich led the Operations Execution business for the Invensys software division of Schneider Electric.

Industrial IoT and edge computing are growing at a rapid pace.
