FlexiJet Technologies Inc. Sues magicJack VocalTec Ltd. For Patent Infringement


PLANO, Texas, July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- FlexiJet Technologies Inc. today announced that it has filed a lawsuit against magicJack VocalTec Ltd. on February 8, 2018 in the Eastern District of Texas for infringement of five US patents, namely US 8,296,757, US 8,533,352, US 8,595,717, US 9,043,482, and US 9,116,723 (Civil Action No. 2:18-CV-00034-JRG). The lawsuit alleges magicJack's core product line of voice over IP devices, including magicJack Go, magicJack Express, magicJack Plus, and the original magicJack, all rely on FlexiJet's patented technologies. FlexiJet's lawsuit seeks monetary damages, attorney's fees, and a permanent injunction against magicJack VocalTec Ltd.
