ConnXus Announces Exclusive Inclusion Partnership With Procurement Leaders; Promotes Strategic Sourcing.

MASON, Ohio, July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ConnXus and Procurement Leaders have officially launched an exclusive Diversity and Inclusion Partnership for the next three years. This collaboration will provide a new and powerful platform to promote diversity and inclusion within the procurement function.

Nandini Basuthakur, CEO Procurement Leaders, said, "The response from our network of 27,000 senior procurement executives to drive demographic, supplier and workplace diversity initiatives has been significant. Getting this right is critical for the future of Procurement. I am excited about the future opportunities and platform this new partnership will create for wider diversity and inclusion within the procurement function."

The ConnXus and Procurement Leaders partnership will deliver increased support to drive meaningful change in Procurement Leaders' community of 700+ member organizations. Throughout the year, ConnXus will present a series of webinars tailored around diversity and inclusion within procurement and the supplier base. ConnXus will also partner with Procurement Leaders events, sharing innovative approaches and highlighting diversity and inclusion as a leadership priority for CPOs. The pinnacle of the partnership is a newly created award at the prestigious 2019 World Procurement Awards; this ConnXus Diversity & Inclusion Award celebrates organizations who are actively engaging in diversity and inclusion as part of their wider talent development plans.

Daryl Hammett, COO & General Manager of ConnXus, believes this award is a great opportunity to celebrate organizations making strides in inclusive procurement. "We want to create awareness of sustainable supply chains achieved through inclusion," he said. "In addition to acknowledging the value and innovation these organizations obtain, we want to celebrate the impact they have on the local and global community."

In addition, ConnXus has fostered many diverse supplier initiatives through strategic sourcing solutions. Earlier this year, ConnXus launched Diverse Marketplace with procure-to-pay partner BuyerQuest. Diverse Marketplace, a B2B buying platform, creates a seamless storefront experience designed to allow buyers to source, compare and purchase commodities from diverse suppliers. Today's participating suppliers include those in packaging, printing, medical supplies, office supplies and marketing. ConnXus is seeking suppliers in various industries to participate, and encourages businesses to have up-to-date woman, minority, LGBT, veteran, or disability business certifications. Learn more and sign up through our Diverse Marketplace webpage.

Diverse Marketplace is a powerful tool that can be used in conjunction with ConnXus' upcoming myConnXion platform release. myConnXion empowers buyers and suppliers to connect at any time, from anywhere in the world. The innovative new platform addresses data inconsistencies, RFP complexities, conference costs, and lack of centralized business information. Buyers and suppliers can collaborate with an automated and intuitive strategic sourcing process, allowing them to spend more time and resources growing their business. Companies can visit the corporate website for the latest information about myConnXion, and all suppliers can sign-up to participate in our strategic sourcing events for free, on mySupplierNetwork.
