On Saturday, September 15, 2018 the 2nd joint event takes place at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg. This event ? hosted by Britain's Felix Fund and America's EOD Warrior Foundation ? honors the EOD communities of both countries and raises funds for programs supporting their EOD warriors and families.

From World War II to the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, British and American bomb disposal forces have fought side by side, disarming improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other ordnance with courage and valor. Their service has not come without a price. Many members of this community, along with their families, battle the physical and emotional wounds of war.

"Following the success of the 2016 dinner, we planned to hold a return event in the USA, forging lasting relationships between both countries' EOD families," said Ken Falke, Chairman of EOD Warrior Foundation.

Karl Frankland, Chairman of Felix Fund added "With far less media coverage for the work these personnel carry out both at home and abroad, it is important that we continue to raise awareness and needed funds. The Felix Fund and the EOD Warrior Foundation services are actually needed more when these Warriors are not on operational tours."

Information regarding sponsorship, 100% of which goes toward program support, and to purchase tickets may contact [email protected] in the UK and in the USA [email protected].
