Advisor To Trumpet Behavioral Health Named Next Editor In Chief Of The Journal Of Applied Behavior Analysis


LAKEWOOD, Colo., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trumpet Behavioral Health ("Trumpet") is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda LeBlanc, Ph.D., BCBA-D®, to editor in chief of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (JABA). Dr. LeBlanc was Trumpet's executive director of research and clinical services from 2012 to 2016, and currently serves as Trumpet's executive advisor.

Dr. LeBlanc's new appointment as editor in chief of this prestigious journal solidifies her place as a well-regarded industry leader in the field of applied behavior analysis.

Her appointment to editor in chief of the industry's flagship journal comes as a result of Dr. LeBlanc's consistent contributions to the field. She has published more than 100 articles and book chapters, and is an associate editor for Behavior Analysis in Practice and a senior editor for Education and Treatment of Children. In addition to her role at Trumpet, Dr. LeBlanc just completed her term on the board of directors of the California Association for Behavior Analysis.

According to Dr. LeBlanc, "I am delighted to have been elected as editor in chief of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. JABA was the first journal that I read and published in as a graduate student and the first journal for which I reviewed articles and served as an associate editor."

Dr. LeBlanc has been instrumental in developing the core functions that drive Trumpet's research and clinical practices. She built a comprehensive set of clinical standards, developed the company's research function, and recruited and mentored many of Trumpet's clinical leaders.
