InventHelp Inventor Develops Vehicle Safety System for Children (OCM-1013)

PITTSBURGH, July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from La Puente, Calif., has developed the LOVE STEPS, a safety device that will help prevent injuries and deaths to babies and young children left unattended in motor vehicles. It will make use of readily available technology to warn the driver if a baby or young child is left unattended in the vehicle.

"I have heard too many tragic news stories about children being left unattended in hot vehicles. Many of these stories end in the death of an innocent child. I wanted to help prevent this from happening," said the inventor. The LOVE STEPS safeguards a young child or at-risk passenger from being left unattended in a hot vehicle. The system will alert a driver when a child/individual is left in a vehicle. This will assure parents/caregivers that their young children/passengers will remain safe. In addition, this system will ensure that a child does not ride unrestrained in the vehicle. It is available in both OEM or aftermarket versions.
