InventHelp Inventor Develops Secure Food Storage Container (PIT-724)

PITTSBURGH, July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Most office employees have at least heard stories of others accessing and consuming someone else's lunch from the shared refrigerator, if not experienced it themselves. Because of that, many choose to purchased personalized lunch bags or write their name on their lunch in an attempt to deter others from eating it.

An inventor from Warren, Ohio, has invented SAFE LUNCH BOX, a food storage container that features a locking mechanism to prevent other individuals from gaining access to the contents. "Everyone is familiar with the frustrations of having someone else eat your lunch," said the inventor. "My invention would prevent that from ever happening again." SAFE LUNCH BOX keeps an individual's lunch or other related items safe, secure and enclosed, as well as serves as a deterrent for unwanted tampering.

This invention would provide users with peace of mind that the contents of their lunchbox are protected from others. It could potentially save the user money and spare them from the frustration of having to replace their lunch after it was consumed by another. Additionally, it is lightweight and easy to transport.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
