MyRadar Weather App Releases Advance Rain Notifications Feature

PORTLAND, Ore., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ACME AtronOmatic, LLC, makers of the popular MyRadar Weather and information app, announces the latest new feature now available; Advance Rain Notifications.  This new feature provides advance push notifications straight to your iOS or Android device that offer hyper-local precipitation warnings, proactively notifying you of impending rain before it hits, with a high degree of accuracy.

Developed in-house using a patent-pending algorithm and data-crunching process, the notifications make the best use of MyRadar's customized weather data infrastructure to proactively alert users via mobile devices as to when the rain or snow will hit - down to the minute, up to an hour in advance - including the type of precipitation imminent; light drizzle, heavy rain, or snow. This new process gives MyRadar the most accurate advance precipitation prediction system on the market today.

"As we continue to move further into the 21st century, the key to making apps better will be in finding ways to make them do more of the work for us.  By making the best use of our prediction algorithms, MyRadar helps nudge us a little closer to that goal by giving users a heads-up on the rain, even when you're too busy to check," said ACME AtronOmatic CEO, Andrew Green.

MyRadar receives radar data from around the country directly from each individual radar station, and processes that data on its own server farms in real-time to render the most accurate, up-to-date weather picture available on any mobile device.  This direct access to weather telemetry opens up capabilities that allow MyRadar to work with the raw data, enabling more useful and innovative services directly to user fingertips.

The new Advanced Rain Notifications feature is available now for free, and is included in the base version of MyRadar, a free download.
