To further advance her professional career, Huffman is a distinguished fellow of several elite organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kansas Society of CPAs, National Association of Women in Construction, and Construction and Financial Management Association.

Charitable to various organizations, Huffman is an avid member of United Way and American Red Cross. When she is not working, Huffman enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling.
