InventHelp Inventor Develops Breast-Feeding Monitor (JHA-127)

PITTSBURGH, July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "My son was sick with a fever, and the doctor asked me how much milk he was consuming," said an inventor from Atlantic Beach, Fla. "I did not know the exact amount. This personal need led me to develop a surefire way to determine precisely how much a child consumes each feeding."

She developed the OUNCE COUNTER to enable the user to determine how much the child is drinking while nursing. The device helps determine if the child is receiving adequate nutrition. This prevents under-feeding and malnutrition. The accessory also prevents over-feeding. The invention takes the stress and guesswork out of breast-feeding. In addition, it provides added peace of mind to parents and caregivers.

The original design was submitted to the Jacksonville office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
