FACILITY EXPANSION FOR FIBERGLASS POOL MANUFACTURER

FORTVILLE, Ind., July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Indiana fiberglass pool manufacturer, Thursday Pools, announced the launch of the planned 40,000 square foot expansion of their manufacturing facility. The expansion will bring the total space of their facility to 100,000 square feet, increasing production, storage and employment capacities.

"We're excited and we're ready," said Bill Khamis, Thursday Pools CFO. "We just added onto our facility two years ago, but we're still growing. This is the next step. We've made a commitment to continual improvement through our ISO 9001 certification and this expansion is going to improve so many aspects of our business-- production capacity to start, but it will also allow us to have better quality control, as we'll have a dedicated space to inspect and store the pools. And of course, the expansion means more jobs in Hancock County. We're glad to be able to bring more employees on board."

The expansion will result in:

• More than doubled total facility space
• Doubled loading area for fiberglass pools
• A dedicated manufacturing area for two Thursday Pools innovations: The Fiberglass Pool Anchoring System (FPA) and the Backfill Eliminator
• Twelve acres of asphalt and stone dedicated fiberglass pool storage area

Loading a fiberglass pool shell onto a tractor trailer is no small feat. Having a dedicated space to load the pools means a much safer workplace.
