InventHelp Inventor Redesigned Earwax Remover (HTM-6082)

PITTSBURGH, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- While conventional cotton swabs have long been valuable as a personal care item, an inventor from College Station, Texas, found them ineffective for earwax removal. So she improved the current design to solve this problem.

She developed patent pending EAR PICK specifically to provide a more effective ear cleaning than standard cotton swabs. As such, it facilitates better hearing and overall good health. At the same time it reduces the risk of injury or infection and eliminates waste of excess cotton swabs. Besides saving time and effort, this invention is convenient, practical and affordably priced. In addition, its compact, lightweight and portable construction makes it easy to use.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "In my daily ear-cleaning routine, I had to use multiple cotton swabs since one wasn't effective in removing all the wax," she said. "I wanted something that would scoop out all the wax in one sweep so I wouldn't waste so many swabs."

The original design was submitted to the National Sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
