InventHelp Inventor Develops Dog-Walking Multi-Tasker (DHM-411)

PITTSBURGH, July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I recently got a dog, and I soon realized that picking up pet waste by hand using a plastic bag was disgusting," said an inventor from Wake Forest, N.C. "Not wanting to have to touch the waste at all, I came up with a more sanitary and convenient way of collection and disposal."

He developed the patent pending MAGGIE'S MAID to offer a convenient and hygienic means of collecting and disposing of pet waste. The design eliminates the need to come into contact with stool. The unit ensures that waste-collection bags are readily available for use. The invention also makes the pet readily visible to motorists and others. It features storage space for small personal items, such as a wallet, cards, keys, etc. Additionally, the device includes other convenient features, such as a flashlight, pepper spray and collapsible umbrella.

The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
