University of the Southwest Chooses Cengage Unlimited to Save Students up to $1.5 Million on Course Materials


BOSTON and HOBBS, N.M., July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cengage, an education and technology company, and the University of the Southwest have partnered to provide students savings of up to $1.5 million over the 2018-2019 academic year. The agreement leverages Cengage Unlimited, the first-of-its-kind subscription that gives students access to the company's digital higher education materials for one price.

"Too many students begin the school year without the necessary course materials they need to be successful because they cannot afford them. With Cengage Unlimited we're ending the expensive cycle of purchasing course-by-course and giving students access to everything they need to learn," said Andy Gates, Vice President, Institutional Sales at Cengage. "We're pleased to continue working with the university, building on our previous success to increase student access to quality, affordable learning."

Cengage Unlimited offers students access to more than 22,000 products across 70 disciplines and 675 courses?for one price, no matter how many Cengage materials they use. Students using Cengage technology platforms, like MindTap or WebAssign, also have the option of a print rental for $7.99 with free shipping.

University of the Southwest students will receive access to a Cengage Unlimited subscription on the first day of class through the University's learning management system.
