PasWord Protection Raises $2100 for Hamilton Heart and Stroke


HAMILTON, Ontario, July 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, PasWord Protection announced that their participation in the Big Bike Ride for Heart and Stroke has raised $2,100.  The event took place on June 11, 2018, starting from 33 Bowen Public House, an Irish pub in Hamilton, Ontario.

Big Bike is an event that happens once a year to support critical heart disease and stroke research. A team of 29 riders power one Big Bike for 20 minutes. Each rider solicits donations from individual sponsors.

Positive Impact

Funds raised during the Heart and Stroke Big Bike, help to ensure that critical research in hospitals and universities across Canada can continue. Research like Dr. Paul Fedak's, who is close to harnessing the potential for a damaged heart to heal itself or Dr. Ed Prysdial, who is investigating a new clot-busting drug.
