Self-Made Millionaire Joins VETPAW's Board and Helps Rescue Lone Rhino

NEW YORK, July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Timothy Sykes, self-made millionaire and renowned stock trader, assisted Veterans Empowered to Protect African Wildlife (VETPAW) in rescuing a lone rhino from danger and accepted their invitation to join its board.

"Tim has become an advocate for VETPAW through his hands-on philanthropy that he does around the world for many causes," said Ryan Tate the Co-Founder and President of VETPAW. "After Tim traveled to South Africa to observe how our veterans are helping protect endangered rhinos from being killed by poachers, he participated in these efforts first-hand and worked side-by-side with our veterans. Recently Tim donated the funds necessary to rescue and relocate the last remaining rhino from a reserve that once held over 50. Because of Tim's invaluable contribution this rhino can now live safely on VETPAW's sanctuary and contribute to securing the future of this species."

Timothy Sykes is a self-made millionaire stock trader who started with his $12,000 Bar Mitzvah money and turned it into nearly $5 million and teaches his skills to 6,000+ students in 100+ countries around the world.

U.S. Veteran and Marine Ryan Tate, founded VETPAW after being exposed to elephant and rhino poaching and witnessing how devastating it was on East African communities and wildlife. Ryan's military experience allowed him to recognize how valuable and necessary veterans' skills and abilities are for anti-poaching efforts, and how post-9/11 veterans are the most ideal to train park rangers.
