"NAES has consistently delivered the kind of operational excellence that aligns with our vision of modernizing America's power generation by leveraging global technology and strong partnerships," said Mark McDaniels, Asset Manager at CPV who oversees O&M at Hunterstown. "This agreement reflects our confidence in NAES's ability to optimize Hunterstown's performance."

Dan Consie, NAES Senior Vice President of Power Services, added, "We are excited to take on the operation of this major facility and to have another opportunity to work with CPV. We've established a strong partnering relationship with them and have mutually developed an operating plan that will more than meet their technical and commercial goals for Hunterstown."

Located in Straban Township, Adams County, Pa., Hunterstown is equipped with three GE 7FB.04 combustion turbines and one GE D11 steam turbine. The plant utilizes a dry-cooled condenser to minimize groundwater usage from on-site wells. The facility began commercial operations in 2003, providing electric power to the PJM Interconnection.
