Dr. C.D. Shelton Talks Water Recycling With Sharon Kleyne

GRANTS PASS, Ore., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Date aired: June 18th, 2018

Guest: Dr. C. D. Shelton, http://www.cdshelton.com/bio.php

Dr. C. D. Shelton, Professor of Biology (emeritus) has shared with thousands of students his passion and knowledge of the natural world, including the saga of water. Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Water Life Science®/Nature's Pharma®, The Power of Water® & Your Health sponsored by Nature's Tears® EyeMist® on VoiceAmerica and World Talk Radio, recently welcomed Dr. Shelton, also a prolific writer of more than 60 books, to discuss their mutual fascination with the international water crisis in the on-air lab that is Kleyne's talk radio show.

Kleyne teaches with a rhetorical question and answer: "What are you? You're water." Kleyne has demonstrated that each individual's water crisis begins at birth with the process of water evaporation. "Dehydration," Kleyne says, "is a major disease catalyst. Earth has water. Everything depends on water." Kleyne hopes that every person's awareness of water deepens with water technology research and education. Kleyne also warns that water wars are coming in Earth's near future.

Shelton agrees and points out that water has been the primary catalyst for change and population upheaval throughout history. In New Mexico, for instance, the Anastazi people transformed from hunter-gatherers to agriculture growers and settled into a prosperous cliff-dwelling community. But as a result of a 14-year drought, they were forced to dismantle their structures and migrate to new water sources. Shelton teaches that similar patterns can be observed in the cradle of civilization, the Nile River Valley, in China, the Sahara, and in countries and continents around the world.

Shelton's intense interest in water began with his ranch childhood in Texas. From the beginning, he remembers being fascinated with water, a fascination that followed him to the University of Oregon and beyond. In 2012, Shelton began writing short e-books on health-related concerns for SHORT ON TIME EBOOKS http://www.facebook.com/healthylivingnow4u

When asked by Kleyne what he would propose as a step in the right direction to solve the international water crisis, Shelton was quick to respond. "More regulation," he said. "We should hold industries and manufacturers accountable for their actions. We should heavily fine them for creating pollution." Looking at China, Shelton sees a dynamic country that "makes great demands on the environment. China will have to learn that if it doesn't take care of the environment, it will not survive." Shelton also strongly believes in recycling water. He demonstrates that water recycling is four times less expensive than the process of reverse osmosis. Kleyne agrees and adds that we need to do a better job reaching out to children with water education and holding politicians accountable for policies that ignore the Power of Water® and harm the environment.
