"Austin embodies everything we stand for at Church's," said Laura Reese, Senior Director of Media, Digital, and PR for the brand. "Our core values include Stepping Up, Working Together, and Showing We Care. Making sure our communities are fed is 100% in line with demonstrating our core values through our commitment to the neighborhoods and people we serve."

The thoughtful little boy first caught the attention of the public in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, where he started out by handing out sandwiches to some of the city's homeless. Austin delivers these meals with a smile and his favorite saying, "Don't forget to show love" to lift the spirits of those around him.  This phrase has become so popular it is now the theme and the name of Austin's fundraising efforts - #ShowLove. Foundation.

On Friday, Church's will be providing chicken, biscuits, and mashed potatoes for Austin to hand out to the homeless in our community, starting at 10 am. The Atlanta Community Food Bank will also be on hand to serve water to Austin's guests.

"We are truly honored to partner with Austin in this act of kindness and goodwill," continued Reese. "Our hope is that successful events like this one inspire even more people and restaurant brands to support the #ShowLove mission nationwide." Church's Chicken will continue to #ShowLove with Austin on National Fried Chicken Day, July 6th. On that day, Church's Chicken social media followers can tag @Church's and #ShowLove and #ChurchsChicken on their social media channels and share a story of giving back to their local community, Church's will donate $1 for each storyto Austin's Show Love Foundation. Church's will be donating up to a maximum of $10,000.
