Update - Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce investment in a major international scientific institution


OTTAWA, June 25, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will be in Vancouver on Monday for events that connect Canadian science to growing the economy and creating jobs.

The day will begin with the Minister announcing Canada's contribution to a major international scientific institution.

After the announcement, the Minister will speak to the Vancouver Economic Commission about Canada's historic support for science and how it strengthens our economy and creates ideas that are the seeds of new small and medium-sized businesses.
