Inventiv Foundation Ensuring Inventors' Patents are Protected

ZEPHYR COVE, Nev., June 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Inventiv Foundation, a Nevada non-profit organization which provides education and software to support inventors and entrepreneurs, is on a mission to further the goals of America's Founding Fathers. This includes prolific inventors George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. To accomplish this lofty goal, Inventiv is providing inventors with research, education and outreach activities aimed at promoting inventions and the use of the IP system to protect them.

Despite writing the book on innovation, America has dropped to 12th place in patent system strength internationally. To remedy this, Inventiv Foundation will conduct and distribute research, studies and analysis relating to innovation and economic issues and provide tools to aid inventors in enhancing the world through new inventions that are protected by the IP system. It also seeks to focus public debate on solutions to protecting innovation, and intends to develop technical solutions such as software and education as well as policy solutions and proposals to address innovation problems.

"Creating and owning robust IP is a critical asset to almost all of the investments we make in early-stage companies," noted Silicon Valley venture capitalist Ben Dubin."Too many start-ups neglect their IP strategy due to complexity and costs until it too late. Inventiv Foundation provides them with an affordable and manageable path toward securing their IP ownership."

"Intellectual property (IP) protections are crucial for U.S. inventors," said Bao Tran, principal attorney at Tran & Associates. "They empower inventors to earn a living off of their inventions."

Concluded Kurt Brown, a Houston-based patent attorney, "Without strong patent protections, our inventors will find it nearly impossible to protect their ideas and will face even more infringement by large corporations and foreign competitors. Already, intellectual property theft impacts nearly half of all American businesses each year."
