TORONTO, June 20, 2018 /CNW/ - The Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA) welcomes the announcement of the members of the Advisory Council on the Implementation of Pharmacare.  The Advisory Council's work is important to ensuring that all Canadians have access to the affordable prescription medicines they need to keep them well.

"Canada's life and health insurers are ready to work with the Advisory Council as it develops options to ensure access to affordable prescription medicines for everyone," states Stephen Frank, President and CEO of CLHIA.  "The Advisory Council's work is important to help improve our current system so that it works better for all Canadians.
