Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give Announces 2019 Event Dates

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., June 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2019 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give will return to Blythefield Country Club from June 11-16, featuring another week of fun-filled events to celebrate Father's Day.

"We are excited to once again offer a way for families to come together to celebrate Father's Day," Meijer LPGA Classic Executive Director Cathy Cooper said. "The Meijer LPGA Classic is a special way for families to spend time together, and we couldn't be more pleased with the community support."

In 2019, the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give will celebrate its 6^th tournament. Additionally, the Grand Taste at the Meijer LPGA Classic ? known as the best food experience on any tour ? will return June 14-16 of tournament week.  

The 2019 Meijer LPGA Classic will host a full field of 144 of the best women golfers for 72 holes of stroke play over four days of competition. Proceeds from the tournament ? and each of the week's festivities ? will once again benefit the Meijer Simply Give program that restocks the shelves of food pantries across the Midwest. The 2018 tournament raised $1.1 million for local food pantries through Simply Give. In total, the five tournaments have generated more than $4.2 million for the Meijer Simply Give program.
