Immigration In A Time Of Intolerance

NEW YORK, June 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Hulbert Waldroup is proud to present a body of artwork reflecting immigration in the times we are living in. Dreamers, and Trump's proposed Border Wall, will be showcased.

The exhibit will be on view for the month of June 2018, with a reception on Friday, June 22nd. Both exhibition and reception are taking place at 83 Orchard Street, New York, NY 10002.

This work emerges from the certainty that immigration should be a basic human right; walls should come down, not go up.

"Every morning I open my eyes and take a long look at the world, then become angry, sad and bitter. With tears in my eyes, sweat on my brow, and the blood rushing in my veins, I release all of my love, all of my hate, and all of the emotions I contain, onto the canvas. History will see someone did care. It is not what I want to paint, it is what I have to paint."
