MEDIA ADVISORY - Invitation: Groundbreaking Ceremony at Vancouver International Airport (YVR)


RICHMOND, BC, June 14, 2018 /CNW/ - Join us today at the groundbreaking ceremony of YVR's multi-year expansion projects. YVR is embarking on an unprecedented period of growth, and will invest several billions dollars to enhance the passenger experience at YVR and build a world-class sustainable hub airport.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony, media are invited for airside access to tour additional key construction projects at YVR.

When:   Thursday, June 14, 2018

  • 9:00 a.m. ? Media registration
  • 9:30 a.m. ? Groundbreaking ceremony, including speeches and photo opportunities
  • 10:15 a.m. ? Event ends
  • 10:20 a.m. ? Media bus departs for airfield
  • 11:30 a.m. ? Media tour ends
