Nominations open for 3rd annual Insurance Business Canada Awards

TORONTO, June 14, 2018 /CNW/ - Nominations are now open for the 3rd annual Insurance Business Canada Awards (IBC Awards), the annual showcase of excellence for the Canadian Insurance industry.

Twenty-one award categories will recognize the top-performing brokers and brokerages, insurers and agencies in Canada. Among the broad range of categories are the highly coveted awards for Brokerage of the Year, Insurance Industry Employer of Choice, Young Gun of the Year, and Insurer of the Year.

According to BMS Canada Risk Services CEO Brian Gomes (Outstanding Customer Service by a Brokerage 2017), "This industry has a lot of people in it wanting to be in a position to invoke change and to have purpose. This ceremony provides that platform to recognize that type of mindset and effort."

The IBC Awards follows a comprehensive decision-making process, involving two months of nominations, industry research and finalist submissions. Finalists will be announced on Insurance Business Canada (IBC) magazine and online in September.

Winners will be announced live during the black-tie awards ceremony on November 29 in The Liberty Grand Toronto. All award winners will be determined by a judging panel comprising independent insurance industry leaders and senior-level representatives.

Submit your nominations or browse the full list of categories on www.ibawards.ca.
