Author Leelia Carolyn Cornell's Newly Released "In The Shadow Of God's Love" Uses One Woman's Experiences with God to Offer Insights Into Who He Is

MEADVILLE, Pa., June 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "In The Shadow Of God's Love": a collection of poems and stories about life's joys, sorrows, heartrending trials, triumphs, and special times with God. "In The Shadow Of God's Love" is the creation of published author, Leelia Carolyn Cornell. Although Leelia has lived in the vicinity of her birthplace, Marion, Indiana, she has traveled extensively. She has visited all fifty States, five Canadian provinces, the Yukon Territory, and four continents. Her travels include a mission trip to Asia. Leelia has a heart for getting the Word of God to people in their native languages as well as supporting believers in countries where they are persecuted. She is a historian who has conducted a number of musical historical programs, many of which focused on Abraham Lincoln. Leelia was a regular contributor to Hoosier Heritage Magazine throughout its years of publication. She presently writes about an internationally award-winning youth circus in Peru, Indiana for White Tops, a professional circus magazine. She and her husband, Tom, are volunteers with the Peru Amateur Circus, which is fifteen miles from their home and one of the best youth programs in the country. She and Tom live on four and a half acres full of wildlife and trees, which they share with their Pembroke Welsh Corgi Joel. They have three children, seven granddaughters, and one living grandson. Leelia also teaches a Bible study on the Hebraic understanding of scripture.

"Do you hunger to have a deep, personal relationship with God. Do you long to know more of His character? Do you need to find more of His peace, love, and mercy? Do you want more strength to face the challenges and trials of life and emerge victorious?" --Leelia Carolyn Cornell

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Leelia Carolyn Cornell's new book is a collection of Christian poems and narratives.

God is so awesome that it is impossible to confine Him to mere words. No two people relate the same way to God. God is fresh in His dealings with each individual, even though His character is constant and eternal. It is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The faithful glean insights into God from His Word as well as by the insights of others, which are inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is how people discover His Workings in the lives of mankind. These insights serve as beams of light on the path through life.

The first part of "In The Shadow Of God's Love" attempts to capture a fragment of who God is in poetry and verse. The second part offers stories from the lives of author Leelia Carolyn Cornell and her ancestors. These stories proclaim God in everyday living. God is to be in every aspect of life. This book relates stories of life's joys, sorrows, heartrending trials, triumphs, and special times with God, along with the mundane and funny happenings of daily life. There are also poems about God's hand in the nature seen just outside of the author's backdoor.
