Official ribbon cutting ceremony set to welcome new fleet of EV charging stations to Hamilton
HAMILTON, ON, June 13, 2018 /CNW/ - On Thursday, June 14, CF Lime Ridge will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the successful launch of its electric vehicle charging stations with Tesla and FLO. This investment brings 20 Tesla Superchargers and three FLO chargers to the property, further growing the prominent EV community in the City of Hamilton.
As a testament to CF Lime Ridge's commitment to giving back to the community, a donation will be made to Empowerment Squared, a Hamilton based youth charity. Funds donated will contribute to empowering youth through education around sustainable change.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. a "Ride and Drive" event will be hosted to raise awareness around the benefit of electric vehicles. Media will have the opportunity to test drive Tesla and other electric vehicles on-site at CF Lime Ridge as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony.
