HOUSTON, June 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, World Cinema, the leading innovator of in-room entertainment technologies, announced a sales partnership with SHOWTIME for distribution sales of the SHOWTIME Hotel App, included with the WorldVue Platform. Through the app, hotels are now able to provide free access to the SHOWTIME service? which includes an extensive library of award-winning original series, blockbuster hit movies, comedy programming, documentaries and more ? on the in-room televisions.

Previously, streaming and casting in a hotel room required guests to pair a personal device or enter passwords with a TV remote. With the SHOWTIME Hotel App, included with most WorldVue^® Platform packages by World Cinema, guests can simply click and watch premium entertainment without a log in or password. Hotel guests can watch groundbreaking SHOWTIME original series, including BILLIONS, HOMELAND, SHAMELESS, RAY DONOVAN, THE AFFAIR, THE CHI and THE CIRCUS.
