Geneviève Simard, Amélie-Frédérique Gagnon, Anna Prchal and Gail Kelly, four victims of Bertrand Charest, call for action to immediately put an end to abuse in sport
MONTRÉAL, June 4, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Four victims of former Canadian national ski coach Bertrand Charest will hold a press conference to share their experiences and urge the government to act quickly to create a safe environment for sport ? one free of psychological and physical abuse.
At this event, Mr. J.D. Miller, President and Co-founder of B2Ten, and Ms. Lorraine Lafrenière, Chief Executive Officer of the Coaching Association of Canada, will speak of the necessity to establish concrete measures to ensure a safe and secure environment for our Canadian athletes.
They will be accompanied by Ms. Julie Girard and Mr. Bill Brock, of Davies, the law firm that is the legal adviser to the four victims of Bertrand Charest.
