Bristol Gate Capital Partners is the manager of Bristol Gate Concentrated Canadian Equity ETF (TSX: BGC) and Bristol Gate Concentrated US Equity ETF (TSX: BGU/BGU.U) (the ETFs).
Reyer Barel, Co-Chief Investment Officer, has resigned from Bristol Gate Capital Partners to pursue his long-held career aspirations in academia. He will be enrolling in a full time PhD program, an ambitious undertaking which the firm fully supports. Peter Simmie will assume responsibility for the firm's Data Science and Fundamental Research teams as the sole Chief Investment Officer. Portfolio decisions will continue to be made by the firm's Investment Committee.
Bristol Gate Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Izet Elmazi CPA, CA, CFA has joined the firm as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Izet was most recently at Goodman & Company Investment Counsel and previously spent eight years with 1832 Asset Management (formerly Dynamic Funds). Izet has a B.Comm degree from the University of Toronto.
Bristol Gate Capital Partners is also pleased to welcome Kathleen (Katie) Taylor CPA, CA as the firm's Chief Compliance Officer. Katie was in the same role with Burgundy Asset Management Ltd. for the past six years following a steady progression of roles in its finance and compliance areas. Katie has a B.Comm degree from Queen's University.
