Royal Canadian Circus Increases Number of Shows in Western Canada and Ontario in 2018

CALGARY, Alberta, May 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Royal Canadian Circus is proud to announce that Spectac!tm 2018 will feature over 98 exciting performances in cities throughout Western and Eastern Canada between May 17th and August 6th. Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows have been scheduled throughout Eastern Ontario. The Royal Canadian Circus has moved toward thrill acts and acrobatic feature performances and no longer has exotic animals as part of their show.

The internationally renowned Royal Canadian Circus continues to feature incredible performances by the astounding four person high Guerreros, led by Aura and Werner, an equestrian showcase by S. Caleb Carinci-Asch and his team of dazzling acrobats that were recently featured in the latest Hugh Jackman movie, "The Greatest Showman," the mind-blowing, World Champion Chinese acrobat's troupe, the majestic aerial strap performances by Andrea and Martin Gonzales, the phenomenal juggling act by Tommy Tequila (Thomas Aguila), the quick change act led by Vyorel and Elena Bilea, the Wheel of Death and acts by many other talented performers.

The Circus's ringmaster, Joseph Dominic Bauer, himself a 9th generation daredevil will also perform in the thrilling Wheel of Death. With such a talented cast, this year's shows promise to be some of the most exciting yet. "2018 is shaping up to be a special year for our circus. If last year's attendance numbers say anything, it's that Canadians love a traditional circus and that these shows provide families with a unique opportunity to show their children something new and exciting," the ringmaster stated.

Circus producer Tarzan Zerbini is encouraging families all throughout the country to check out Spectac!tm 2018, noting that it should be one of the best years yet. "Our fans told us they wanted more shows and that is exactly what we gave them. This year, there will be additional shows scheduled all throughout Southeastern Ontario. The level of support we have received shows that people still crave a traditional circus under the big top, regardless of their age."

Tickets are currently on sale online for all of the scheduled shows. The major cities that will feature the Royal Canadian Circus include:

British Columbia: Surrey, Tsawwassen, Richmond, and Abbotsford
Alberta: Calgary and Edmonton
Ontario: Mississauga, Markham, Pickering, Burlington, and Oakville
