LEGACY Supply Chain Services Sponsors 'Vets to WERC' Program to Support Veterans in Supply Chain Careers

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- For the 3^rd consecutive year, LEGACY Supply Chain Services is proud to announce they are sponsoring Vets to WERC, a program to create awareness of the natural alignment between returning military veterans with supply chain & logistics experience and the need for talented professionals in the supply chain industry. This is the third year LEGACY, along with partners DC Velocity Magazine and the Warehousing Education Research Council (WERC), have brought the program to WERC's 41^st Annual Conference for Logistics Professionals in Charlotte, NC from May 6 ? 9.

As founding sponsor, LEGACY is providing four veterans who are transitioning from military to civilian life with full conference scholarships where they can learn more about the supply chain industry, and create networking opportunities with potential hiring companies.
