Death of an inmate from the Regional Mental Health Centre


SAINTE-ANNE-DES-PLAINES, QC, May 1, 2018 /CNW/ - On April 26, 2018, Keven Paillé, an inmate from the Regional Mental Health Centre died while in our custody.

At the time of his death, Mr. Paillé, 36 years old, had been serving an indeterminate sentence for Aggravated Assault, Assault Against a Peace Officer, Threats and Failure to Comply with Probation Order since April 19, 2017.

The inmate's next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada will review the circumstances and contact the police and the coroner if required.
