OIL CITY, Pa., April 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In cooperation with The Salvation Army Oil City Worship and Service Center and Dental Center, The Dental Health Task Force, and various community sponsors, over 300 Venango County children will participate in games and crafts, preventative education in oral health and personal safety, and have access to dental services at The Salvation Army on Wednesday, April 18th.
With the support of the American Dental Association Foundation's Give Kids A Smile program (GKAS), the program was launched nationally by the American Dental Association in 2003.
THE EVENT AT THE SALVATION ARMY IN OIL CITY, INCREASING IN ATTENDANCE EACH YEAR SINCE ITS INCEPTION, IS ONE OF THE LARGEST IN THE COUNTRY IN RURAL COMMUNITIES.
